Your entry fee forms the largest proportion of the funds raised, but any further efforts to support us with donations or sponsorship large or small for your walk/run are greatly appreciated.

How to Enter

Next BBMC - Saturday 17th May 2014 - Entry Closed

To enter BBMC please read the conditions of entry contained in the event information pdf below before clicking on the link which will direct you to the online booking website. You and your friends can enter either individually, or as a team. However, each participant must complete a form. Please enter as soon as possible as there is a limit on the number of entrants to the event. Due to the use of the online booking system you will be allocated your BBMC number on the day. There will be no entries on the day and all information about start times, registration etc is contained in the event information document. Event information(pdf)

BBMC is an annual fund raising event usually held in May. The event consists of a choice of three testing walks/runs of 43km, 29km and 16km between them taking in 15 summits over 660m around the breathtaking scenery of the Black Mountains. The event starts and finishes at LLanthony Priory located in the Honddu Valley in the Vale of Ewyas.

The links below display maps of the routes, the first link is to google maps, this only shows the checkpoints not the route to them, but gives a visual idea of the terrain you are going to cover. The second link is to a .pdf file containing a map displaying the exact route with checkpoints and direction of travel.

Event Safety

The safety of all participants during the event is paramount and members of the team will be available to react to any emergencies, manning checkpoints and to provide safety advice when required. The following advice and rules are provided for the safety of all entrants.
